L'enfer mieux que l'enfer! Il s’appelle Ahmed Belbacha et c’est l’un des prisonniers algériens de Guantanamo. Accusé de terrorisme, il vient, après une longue peine, d’être libéré. Jusque-là, aucune surprise, si l’on doit dénoncer les atteintes aux droits de l’Amérique de Bush qui met en prison des gens sans jugement, celle-ci sait aussi reconnaître qu’elle a eu tort, en libérant les détenus dont la culpabilité n’a pas été prouvée, pas même sous la torture. Le problème est que Ahmed Belbacha, aujourd’hui libre de rentrer chez lui, ne veut pas rentrer chez lui. Aux dernières nouvelles, il a pris un avocat américain pour rester à Guantanamo et fait tout pour ne pas être expulsé vers l’Algérie. Le constat est inquiétant : Ahmed préfère la prison et Guantanamo plutôt que la liberté et l’Algérie. Comment interpréter ce geste ? Guantanamo, c’est d’abord Cuba, ensuite l’Amérique, c’est-à-dire loin, très loin de l’Algérie. Guantanamo ne serait donc pas cet affreux bagne du Ku Klux Klan où les prisonniers sont repeints en orange et font leur prière les mains attachées dans le dos. Enfin, malgré les réserves de ses adversaires, la réconciliation aurait des limites, puisque Ahmed n’a pas envie de rentrer chez lui et s’exposer à des poursuites, voire à un accueil musclé. En tout état de cause, un Algérien qui préfère rester en prison plutôt que de rentrer chez lui devrait interpeller tout le monde car il rappelle une vieille blague des années Boumediene : préférez-vous aller à Aïn M’lila avec Fawzi Saïchi dans la malle arrière d’une 404 ou aller en Suède en première classe dans un Boeing 747 avec Sharon Stone ? Comme toute chose possède son contraire, l’inverse de la situation de Ahmed Belbacha existe : quelqu’un qui préférerait rester en prison à Jijel plutôt que d’aller aux Etats-Unis vivre libre. Ce cas, on peut l’affirmer, avec ou sans réforme de la justice algérienne, ne peut exister. [souligné par nous] Chawki Amari Eh! Bien il existe ce cas cher chroniqueur d'El-Watan! Vous auriez dû y penser, c'est le pasteur Hugh Johnson, expulsé d'Algérie (l'enfer) pour le paradis américain (son pays d'origine), à son corps défendant et malgré son appel au Conseil constitutionnel d'Algérie. IL VOULAIT RESTER EN ALGERIE, LUI!!! Et rien que pour ça il mériterait le prix Nobel de la Paix, pardon du sacrifice!
