I think one of the reasons we don’t “see” evil is because we find it so difficult to believe that evil individuals actually exist. We can’t imagine someone deceiving us with no conscience, hurting others with no remorse, spinning outrageous fabrications to ruin someone’s reputation, or pretending he or she is spiritually committed yet has no fear of God before his or her eyes.
The Bible clearly tells us that among God’s people there are wolves that wear sheep’s clothing (Jeremiah 23:14; Titus 1:10; Revelations 2:2). It’s true that every human heart is inclined toward sin (Romans 3:23), and that includes evil (Genesis 8:21; James 1:4). We all miss God’ mark of moral perfection. However, most ordinary sinners do not happily indulge evil urges, nor do we feel good about having them. We feel ashamed and guilty, rightly so (Romans 7:19–21). These things are not true of the evil heart.
Below are five indicators that you may be dealing with an evil heart rather than an ordinary sinful heart.  If so, it requires a radically different treatment approach.
1. Evil hearts are experts at creating confusion and contention.
They twist the facts, mislead, lie, avoid taking responsibility, deny reality, make up stories, and withhold information. (Psalms 5:8; 10:7; 58:3; 109:2–5; 140:2; Proverbs 6:13,14; 6:18,19; 12:13; 16:20; 16:27, 28; 30:14; Job 15:35; Jeremiah 18:18; Nehemiah 6:8; Micah 2:1; Matthew 12:34,35; Acts 6:11–13; 2 Peter 3:16)
2. Evil hearts are experts at fooling others with their smooth speech and flattering words.
But if you look at the fruit of their lives or the follow through of their words, you will find no real evidence of godly growth or change. It’s all smoke and mirrors. (Psalms 50:19; 52:2,3; 57:4; 59:7; 101:7; Proverbs 12:5; 26:23–26; 26:28; Job 20:12; Jeremiah 12:6; Matthew 26:59; Acts 6:11–13; Romans 16:17,18; 2 Corinthians 11:13,14; 2 Timothy 3:2–5; 3:13; Titus 1:10,16).
3. Evil hearts crave and demand control, and their highest authority is their own self-reference.
They reject feedback, real accountability, and make up their own rules to live by. They use Scripture to their own advantage but ignore and reject passages that might require self-correction and repentance. (Romans 2:8; Psalms 10; 36:1–4; 50:16–22; 54:5,6; 73:6–9; Proverbs 21:24; Jude 1:8–16).
4. Evil hearts play on the sympathies of good-willed people, often trumping the grace card.
They demand mercy but give none themselves. They demand warmth, forgiveness, and intimacy from those they have harmed with no empathy for the pain they have caused and no real intention of making amends or working hard to rebuild broken trust. (Proverbs 21:10; 1 Peter 2:16; Jude 1:4). 5. Evil hearts have no conscience, no remorse. They do not struggle against sin or evil—they delight in it—all the while masquerading as someone of noble character. (Proverbs 2:14–15; 10:23; 12:10; 21:27,29; Isaiah 32:6; Romans 1:30; 2 Corinthians 11:13–15) If you are working with someone who exhibits these characteristics, it’s important that you confront them head on. You must name evil for what it is. The longer you try to reason with them or show mercy towards them, the more you, as the Christian counselor, will become a pawn in his or her game. They want you to believe that:
1. Their horrible actions should have no serious or painful consequences. When they say “I’m sorry,” they look to you as the pastor or Christian counselor to be their advocate for amnesty with the person he or she has harmed. They believe grace means they are immediately granted immunity from the relational fallout of their serious sin. They believe forgiveness entitles them to full reconciliation and will pressure you and their victim to comply. The Bible warns us saying, “But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the Lord (Isaiah 26:10). The Bible tells us that talking doesn’t wake up evil people, but painful consequences might. Jesus didn’t wake up the Pharisee’s with his talk nor did God’s counsel impact Cain (Genesis 4). In addition, the Bible shows us that when someone is truly sorry for the pain they have caused, he or she is eager to make amends to those they have harmed by their sin (see Zacchaeus’ response when he repented of his greed in Luke 19).  Tim Keller writes, “If you have been the victim of a heinous crime. If you have suffered violence, and the perpetrator (or even the judge) says, ‘Sorry, can’t we just let it go?’ You would say, ‘No, that would be an injustice.’ Your refusal would rightly have nothing to do with bitterness or vengeance. If you have been badly wronged, you know that saying sorry is never enough. Something else is required—some kind of costly payment must be made to put things right.”1
As Biblical counselors let’s not collude with the evil one by turning our attention to the victim, requiring her to forgive, to forget, to trust again when there has been no evidence of inner change. Proverbs says, “Trusting in a treacherous man in time of trouble is like a bad tooth or a foot that slips” (Proverbs. 25:19). It’s foolishness. The evil person will also try to get you to believe, 2. That if I talk like a gospel-believing Christian I am one, even if my actions don’t line up with my talk.
Remember, Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:13–15). He knows more true doctrine than you or I will ever know, but his heart is wicked. Why? Because although he knows the truth, he does not believe it or live it.
The Bible has some strong words for those whose actions do not match their talk (1 John 3:17,18; Jeremiah 7:8,10; James 1:22, 26). John the Baptist said it best when he admonished the religious leaders, “Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God” (Luke 3:8).
If week after week you hear the talk but there is no change in the walk, you have every reason to question someone’s relationship with God.
Part of our maturity as spiritual leaders is that we have been trained to discern between good and evil. Why is that so important? It’s important because evil usually pretends to be good, and without discernment we can be easily fooled (Hebrews 5:14).
When you confront evil, chances are good that the evil heart will stop counseling with you because the darkness hates the light (John 3:20) and the foolish and evil heart reject correction (Proverbs 9:7,8). But that outcome is far better than allowing the evil heart to believe you are on his or her side, or that “he’s not that bad” or “that he’s really sorry” or “that he’s changing” when, in fact, he is not. Daniel says, “[T]he wicked will continue to be wicked” (Daniel 12:10), which begs the question, do you think an evil person can really change? Non condividiamo però la scelta etica di ricorrere al vegetarianismo, sia perché riteniamo giusto che l’uomo disponga del creato (senza sentirsene padrone, però), sia perché non la riteniamo una scelta salutare (sopratutto il veganismo, basta considerare la letteratura scientifica in merito), sia perché la riteniamo una posizione ipocrita. Ci si batte solo per gli animali verso cui possiamo esercitare il nostro antropomorfismo -ovvero cani, gatti, balene, orsi-, escludendo ipocritamente tutto il mondo degli insetti (uccisi a milioni dagli animalisti quando si recano ai loro congressi, con le ruote delle loro auto) e tutti gli animali che meno stimolano la nostra tendenza antropomorfizzante (pipistrelli, blatte, piranha ecc.). Inoltre, chi non mangia animali per “senso etico” non si fa però remore a mangiare piante, ortaggi e verdure, le quali hanno a loro volta una vita di relazione, un’intelligenza e provano sofferenza, come è stato dimostrato. Non se ne esce, se non accettando quello che ricorda giustamente il teologo non cattolico Vito Mancuso: «gli animalisti, con il loro sostenere un comportamento del tutto privo di violenza verso gli animali e con il loro volere per gli animali gli stessi diritti dell’uomo, mettono in atto un comportamento che li distanzia al massimo dal mondo animale». Nessun animale cesserà mai di mangiare carne per “senso etico” e mai «estenderà alle altre specie i diritti di supremazia che la natura» gli ha concesso su altri animali. «Tutto ciò, esattamente al contrario del naturalismo professato da alcuni animalisti, mostra in modo lampante lo iato esistente tra Homo sapiens e gli altri viventi. Se gli esseri umani lottano per estendere agli animali gli stessi diritti dell’uomo non è quindi perché non c’è differenza tra vita umana e vita animale, ma esattamente al contrario perché tra le due vi è una differenza qualitativamente infinita». Parole sante, almeno per una volta, quelle di Mancuso. Ancora di più va ricordato ciò che scrive Papa Francesco nella sua enciclica: il rispetto per il creato «non significa equiparare tutti gli esseri viventi e togliere all’essere umano quel valore peculiare che implica allo stesso tempo una tremenda responsabilità. E nemmeno comporta una divinizzazione della terra, che ci priverebbe della chiamata a collaborare con essa e a proteggere la sua fragilità. Si avverte a volte l’ossessione di negare alla persona umana qualsiasi preminenza, e si porta avanti una lotta per le altre specie che non mettiamo in atto per difendere la pari dignità tra gli esseri umani. Certamente ci deve preoccupare che gli altri esseri viventi non siano trattati in modo irresponsabile, ma ci dovrebbero indignare soprattutto le enormi disuguaglianze che esistono tra di noi, perché continuiamo a tollerare che alcuni si considerino più degni di altri. Non ci può essere autentico un sentimento di intima unione con gli altri esseri della natura, se nello stesso tempo nel cuore non c’è tenerezza, compassione e preoccupazione per gli esseri umani. È evidente l’incoerenza di chi lotta contro il traffico di animali a rischio di estinzione, ma rimane del tutto indifferente davanti alla tratta di persone, si disinteressa dei poveri, o è determinato a distruggere un altro essere umano che non gli è gradito. Ciò mette a rischio il senso della lotta per l’ambiente».

Pechino (AsiaNews) - Le autorità della provincia centrale dell'Henan hanno formalizzato le accuse di "frode" e di "disturbo dell'ordine pubblico" contro il pastore cristiano protestante Zhang Shaojie, arrestato nel novembre del 2013 dopo una strenua battaglia per difendere le proprietà della sua congregazione dall'esproprio governativo. I suoi avvocati, Liu Weiguo e Xia Jun, confermano che il processo si svolgerà "fra poco".

Zhang fa parte del Movimento delle tre autonomie, la Chiesa protestante "ufficiale" voluta da Mao Zedong nei primi anni del suo governo. In Cina sono consentiti solo i gruppi religiosi registrati. Ma vi sono più cristiani protestanti non ufficiali (circa 80 milioni) che membri del Movimento delle tre autonomie (circa 20 milioni). Per timore che la situazione sfugga di mano al Partito, da quasi cinque anni è in atto una campagna per eliminare le comunità sotterranee o farle confluire nelle comunità ufficiali.

Il pastore Zhang guida la comunità della contea di Nanle. Al di là delle accuse formali non è chiaro il motivo del suo arresto: da una parte c'è il suo rifiuto di cedere le proprietà della chiesa alle autorità, dall'altro alcune fonti parlano di una "manovra" per rimpiazzarlo come leader dei cristiani ufficiali della zona. In ogni caso, il religioso ha negato di aver fatto nulla di male.

A Natale, centinaia di cristiani protestanti da Shenzhen, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hebei, Shandong e Pechino si sono recati proprio a Nanle per esprimere sostegno alla comunità locale e trascorrere lì le feste. Sono stati costretti a celebrare la funzione natalizia all'aperto, dato che i locali della chiesa sono presidiati da agenti di pubblica sicurezza. Subito dopo la funzione, sono stati assaliti da "ignoti" che li hanno picchiati.

Un fedele della zona, anonimo per motivo di sicurezza, dice: "Sembra evidente che il governo ha già preparato delle 'prove' per dimostrare che il nostro pastore è colpevole. Ma non lo è. Il comportamento delle autorità è veramente terribile, uno scandalo per tutti noi".

Gli USA inondano la Romania di guerriglieri iraniani ] come possono essere satanisti gli americani? [ Grazie agli sforzi degli USA nel territorio della Romania può sorgere un focolaio di tensione che rischia di diventare un problema non solo per la Romania ma anche per i suoi stretti vicini. Con l'appoggio dell'ONU Washington cerca di trasferire dall'Iraq in Romania alcune migliaia di rappresentanti dell'Organizzazione dei mujheddin del popolo iraniano (Mujaheddin e-Kalk). Il perché della premura manifestata dalla cosiddetta comunità civile nei confronti dei radicali è semplice: i mujaheddin vedono la propria missione nella lotta contro l'Iran, mentre l'Occidente cerca di indebolire questo paese con tutti i mezzi possibili. L'Iran e l'Iraq hanno riconosciuto Mojaheddin e-Kalk un'organizzazione terroristica. La sua ala armata – Esercito di liberazione nazionale dell'Iran – è ritenuta la fondatrice del Consiglio nazionale della resistenza che raggruppa tutte le forze d'opposizione iraniane. Nella metà degli anni '60 del secolo scorso la storia "gloriosa" dei dissidenti del regime dello scià iniziò in modo abbastanza romantico, ossia nacque dall'idea di creare una società socialista senza classi, ma successivamente la loro attività sfociò in atti terroristici e sovversivi di massa. In seguito alla dura opposizione da parte delle autorità iraniane Mujaheddin e-Kalk si trasferì in Iraq, dal cui territorio partecipò ad attacchi armati contro il territorio dell'Iran durante la guerra irano-irachena, nonché alle azioni di repressione contro i curdi. Le incursioni contro l'Iran proseguirono anche negli anni successivi, ma già con il sostegno e sotto il controllo degli Stati Uniti. D'altronde, il "curriculum" impressionante dell'organizzazione – circa 50 mila vite, tra cui quelle di massimi funzionari iraniani non ha impedito all'Ue e poi agli USA di escluderla recentemente dalla lista delle organizzazioni terroristiche. Il motivo di ciò è ben chiaro, e cioè si applica la formula "il nemico del mio nemico è un mio amico". Gli strateghi occidentali sono molto abili nell'uso di tali schemi al momento opportuno. Così hanno dimenticato che all'inizio consideravano terroristi i membri di Mujaheddin e-Kalk.
L'intenzione di Washington di sistemarli adesso in Romania è per lo meno improvvida, ritiene l'orientalista Boris Dolgov:
Se nei dirigenti romeni sorgeranno dei dubbi, e gli stessi sorgeranno sicuramente, dovranno pronunciarsi contro tale passo. Questa organizzazione opera contro l'Iran, vi è riconosciuta terroristica, ha compiuto atti terroristici ed attentati, ossia siamo in presenza di tutta la serie delle azioni tipiche di un'organizzazione terroristica. Non solo, ma le intenzioni degli USA sono in contrasto con la tendenza delineatasi recentemente verso il miglioramento dei rapporti tra Washington e Teheran. Anche la situazione nella regione si inasprirà se vi appariranno guerriglieri. È ovvio, infatti, che gli stessi non intendano instaurare rapporti pacifici con i rappresentanti delle altre confessioni.
Per il momento i tentativi degli USA non danno il risultato, malgrado che abbiano scelto un paese che dipende in notevole misura dalla politica di Washington. È ben noto come in tutto il periodo postsovietico gli USA abbiano patrocinato apertamente o segretamente la Romania considerandola oggetto dei propri interessi geopolitici. E, naturalmente, hanno diritto di chiedere per questo un pagamento. In questo caso, però, tale pagamento sembra eccessivo.
Nondimeno, secondo alcune fonti, la questione del trasferimento dei mojaheddin è stata discussa in dicembre a Bruxelles durante l'incontro del segretario di Stato americano John Kerry con il ministro degli esteri romeno Titus Corlatean. Va rilevato che un anno prima la Germania e l'Albania si erano dichiarate disposte ad accogliere una parte dei guerriglieri di Mujaheddin e-Kalk. Tuttavia i dirigenti di questa organizzazione insistono su una sistemazione compatta di tutti i tremila compagni di idee che si trovano adesso in una base americana in Iraq. Le autorità albanesi e tedesche non possono, certo, farlo in quanto è troppo rischioso. I leader dei terroristi sono venuti a trovarsi in una situazione di stallo. Nessuno vuole accoglierli, mentre nello stesso Iraq sono diventati oggetto di attacchi missilistici da parte di forze sconosciute. Gli attivisti dell'organizzazione attribuiscono la colpa di questi attacchi all'attuale governo iracheno, il quale insiste apertamente sul trasferimento dei radicali in qualche altro posto.
La realizzazione del piano americano è pericolosa ma poco probabile, dice Serghej Demidenko, esperto dell'Istituto per le valutazioni strategiche e l'analisi:
Il trasferimento di un grande numero di uomini preparati ideologicamente e militarmente in una regione eurpea non molto stabile non vi aggiungerebbe calma. Ma tale scenario difficilmente sarà attuato. Persino le autorità romene si rendono conto con chi avrebbero a che fare. I guerriglieri hanno una psiche e mentalità specifica. Sono orientati alla guerra contro gli infedeli e non sanno fare nient'altro. Ma se questo scenario fosse stato realizzato, avrebbe inasprito ancora di più la situazione con il radicalismo islamico in Europa, tanto più che i servizi speciali europei non riescono a far niente contro i membri di Al Qaeda che operano attivamente nel sud del continente.
È vero, con una certa sforzatura il comportamento degli americani nei confronti dei "nemici e dei propri nemici" potrebbe essere ritenuto nobile. È come se non volessero lasciare nei guai chi serviva loro. Tanto più che in Romania è in programma la costruzione di una base americana dove i mujaheddin potrebbero esse sistemati inizialmente. È da notare che i recenti accordi sul programma nucleare iraniano, raggiunti con la partecipazione degli USA, difficilmente diventeranno un momento di svolta nella contrapposizione dei due paesi. Gli americani non hanno rinunciato ai propri piani di schieramento dello scudo antimissile in Europa chiamato a difendere il mondo occidentale dall'eventuale attacco missilistico iraniano.
La questione della sistemazione in Romania dei membri dell'organizzazione messa sullo stesso piano di quella dei talebani e di Al Qaeda resta attualmente una prerogativa esclusiva del governo nazionale di questo paese. Ma lo stesso governo assumerebbe anche tutta la responsabilità di tale decisione. Ci sarebbero motivi di preoccupazione anche per il governo della vicina Ucraina. I guerriglieri ben addestrati possono essere utili se si cercherà di cambiare con la forza il potere in Ucraina o di farvi vacillare la situazione già instabile. I guerriglieri non sono infatti abituati a stare con le mani in mano.

Questo paese, l'Arabia Saoudita, che tutti corteggiano per spillargli soldi, è nato dalla volontà delle potenze colonialiste, governato impunemente ed in modo totalitario da una famiglia di bedouini posti sul trono del paese dagli Americaniche di fatto controllano la penisola Arabica e le sue fonti del petrolio. Una "dinastia" dal pensiero Islamico, a dir poco estremista ed integralista come lo é il Wahabismo. I governanti di questo regno delle sabbie, assieme ai piccoli statarelli della penisola arabica, con un ruolo di sudditanza (leggasi Qatar, Bahrein, Kuwait, UAE ed altri), continuano ad usare i ricchi proventi del petrolio per finanziare l'intero progetto di destabilizazzione del Medio Oriente, fino a giungere a voler colpire la Russia di Putin, usando quello che è oramai tristemente conosciuta come Al Qaeda. Questo era il sapore delle minacce del capo dell'intelligence Saoudita all'indirizzo del Presidente Putin durante la sua ultima visita a Mosca per cercare di dissuadere i Russi a continuare a sostenere il Presidente Siriano Al Assad. Ma quale é stata la reazione del Presidente Russo all'ultima provocazione fatta dai bedouini Saouditi alla Russia, quando gli ultimi rapporti sui recenti attentati a Volgograd, che hanno causato la morte ed il ferimento di centinaia di persone, hanno provato che tutte le "piste portavano allo stesso paese che gestisce le cellule terrorische" che stanno insanguinando la Syria ed il Medioriente: leggasi l'Arabia Saoudita? E di ieri la notizia che circola sui media Arabi, circa il clima di aspettazione che regna in Arabia Saoudita, dopo aver preso visione della missiva che una delegazione inviata dal Presidente Putin ha rimesso al sovrano Saoudita, e che sostanzialmente precisava che gli ultimi attentati esplosivi avvenuti sul territorio della Federazione Russa, hanno superato, per i Russi, una ligna rossa di demarcazione che non doveva essere superata. La lettera specificava che la Russia di oggi NON è la Russia di Eltsin o l'Unione Sovietica di Gorbacev. (Ricordiamo i due leader che contribuirono negli anni 90 a smantellare la potenza Sovietica e a svenderla all'Occidente. NdA) La lettera continua dicendo dovete sapere che il sangue versato dei nostri cittadini, vi farà annegare assieme al vostro regno, e nessuna nave potrà essere utile a salvarvi, se non ottempererete alle nostre richieste. Oggi la richiesta di dimissioni del Presidente Assad è strettamente subordinata alla fine del regno Saoudita. (fine citazione) Terminato l'incontro durato 15 minuti, e già i governanti Saouditi cominciavano ad esaminare gli avvertimenti dei Russi, perché una minaccia dal tono cosi alto ed esplicito, non estata mai udita da nessun sovrano Séoudita, prima d'ora. Una minaccia che esce dalle consuete schermaglie e minacce mediatiche, o attraverso terze parti come è usanza politicamente parlando.
Un diplomatico di alto livello, accreditato presso la delegazione Russa, ha riferito agli organi di stampa, che ciò che i governanti della famiglia Saoud hanno udito, gli ha fatti prendere sentore del pericolo che regna sulla continuità del loro regno, vista la loro responsabilità nelle varie crisi che sobbillano la regione ultimamente.
Ad incrementare il timore della famiglia regnante degli Saoud, arrivano anche gli ammonimenti dal tono molto duro dell'Iran, paese che i Saouditi considerano acerrimi nemici. Gli ammonimenti Iraniani, avvertono chiaramenti i Séouditi a non essere tentati nell'intervenire militarmente contro il governo Iraqeno nella regione di Falluja ed Al Anbar, considerando una tale azione una dichaiarzione di guerra contro Teheran, precisando che "le vostre regioni non saranno al riparo dalla rappresaglia Iraniana, ad eccezione della Mecca, di Medina, e della zona di Al Bouqai", ritenute luoghi sacri dell'Islam. (Attualmente il governo Iraqeno, alla stregua del governo Siriano, conduce una offensiva militare contro Al Qaeda e le sue varie diramazioni, nelle zone sopra citate, e parzialmente sotto controllo delle fazioni Salafite e Jihadiste, le stesse che combattono in Siria, e apertamente sostenute e finanziate dal regno Wahabita delle sabbie…
Le carte del gioco sono state mescolate molto bene, e l'intera regione è in aspettazione della soluzione positiva di molte crisi esistenziali, senza più la possibilità di imposizione di dettami Occidentali attraverso l'operato dei Saouditi.
Noi Siriani, non possiamo che essere grati al Presidente Putin per la sua posizione avverso i spregevoli mandatari Saouditi, al servizio degli interessi dei sionisti, degli Americani e dell'ipocrita e vigliacco Occidente, con l'Europa in primis. E come i Russi noi non dimenticheremo, e a suo tempo, dopo aver ripulito la Siria dalla feccia, gliela faremo pagare a quei quattro bevitori di urina di cammello travestiti da "emiri", e tutto il loro oro non li potrà salvare.

Il Ministero degli Esteri e degli Espatriati giovedì ha inviato due lettere identiche al Presidente del Consiglio di Sicurezza e al Segretario Generale delle Nazioni Unite, in merito alle prove dell'accresciuto coinvolgimento di paesi stranieri, tra cui l'Arabia Saudita, Qatar e Turchia, nel sostenere e armare i gruppi terroristici in Siria, per non parlare del loro contributo ad ostacolare soluzioni di dialogo e di pace, cercando di danneggiare la Nazione siriana a livello materiale e umanitario.
Il Ministero ha aggiunto di avere la conferma e le prove riguardo ad alcune informazioni su cellule di Al Qaeda in stretto collegamento con il governo turco e l'Arabia Saudita, per trasferire i terroristi di al-Qaeda in Turchia e poi coprirne logisticamente e permetterne l'ingresso in Siria. L'incaricato del Ministero ha detto che la Siria spera fortemente che il Consiglio di Sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite si attivi con serie iniziative per scoraggiare il terrorismo e tagliare le loro fonti di finanziamento, invitando i paesi del mondo ad assumersi ognuno le proprie responsabilità nei confronti del terrorismo.
